Cookie Policy
Here we explain in plain language what the website petposed.com stores in your browser, why, and how you can change it. The website is operated, and your data is controlled, by UnknownHorizons s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 23276070. General information about how we process personal data can be found in our privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Besides them, we also use similar technologies, in particular browser storage (localStorage). For simplicity, we refer to all of these as cookies here.
2. Essential cookies
Without them, the website would not work or would not remember your choices. We always use them, without consent, based on our legitimate interest in operating the website, because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested (Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC).
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 1 year |
| mt_selected_looks, mt_reveal_…, mt_purchase_… (localStorage) | Your style selection in progress and a note of what we have already shown you, so nothing gets lost or repeated | Until deleted in your browser |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Set by the Stripe payment gateway on the payment page for fraud prevention | 1 year / 30 minutes |
3. Marketing cookies (Meta)
We only use them with your consent, which you give in the window shown on your first visit. This is the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook, Instagram). It helps us find out which ads bring in people who actually go on to get a portrait, and show ads to people who might be interested.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Distinguishes your browser for measuring and targeting Meta ads | 3 months |
| _fbc | Remembers that you came from a Meta ad (ad click) | 3 months |
If you consent, the Meta Pixel in your browser records page views, the submission of photos to create previews, the start of checkout and completed purchases (amount and purchased styles). Meta may link this information to your Facebook or Instagram account. How Meta handles data is described in its privacy policy.
4. Analytics cookies
We don’t use any. We don’t measure website traffic in any way other than through the Meta Pixel described above.
5. How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Just click below and the choice window will appear again. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You can also delete or block cookies directly in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, the website may not work properly – for example, the links to your orders may not be saved.
6. Changes
We may update this policy when we change what we use on the website. You can always find the current version on this page.
